Children in Year 4PJ honed their questioning skills as they worked with Reception boys on a Maths investigation activity. The children in the Early Years had been comparing the weights of fruit from the story, Handa's Surprise and finding out how to use the balance scales. The pupils in Year 4 taught them how to estimate and check the weight of each fruit in order to find the heaviest and the lightest. The reward for such fabulous working partnerships… the promise of an exotic fruit smoothie selection by the end of the week!
