We went to the Botanic Gardens in Oxford. We were studying the art of Henri Rousseau. We went into a large room and met our guide for the day. We were all given a pad. and had to find different coloured and shaped leaves. We were using oil pastels and had to blend colours to match the leaf shades. We were not allowed to use green! My favourite plant was the Cocoa Bean. I learnt that the cocoa that becomes our most delicious chocolate is poisonous at first! It has to be put through factories and various other processes before it becomes an edible treat. It was a shame that I left my camera on in my pocket as it ran out of power half way through the trip. I would have liked to have taken more pictures as it was all so stunning.
