Year 7

Artist:Matisse Paper cutting techniques, colour and shape. Andy Goldsworthy outdoor sculptures using natural resources. Mono printing - fish. Still life - pots -chalk pastels pencil etc. Ceramics - to be decided with class. Additional information can be viewed on the Year 7 Art Showcase page.

Year 6

Year 5

Artist:Henri Rousseau.Jungles, shape, line, colour, layering.Plants and animals.Oil Pastels - large. Silk painting. Botanic Gardens. Additional information can be viewed on the Year 5 Art Showcase page.

Year 4

Artist:Georgia O'Keefe. Chalk pastel, ink, paint. Small and large work on paper and fabric. Additional information can be viewed on the Year 4 Art Showcase page. Botanic Gardens.

Year 3

Habitat and animal types. Ancient Greeks. Clay animals. Landscape around school drawing (perspective) - sketching and watercolours. Additional information can be viewed on the Year 3 Art Showcase page.

Year 2

Artist: Mondrian Painting and drawing cityscapes - chalk pastels, watercolours. Colour photocopy them.3-D 'city' glue objects on board, spray. Additional information can be viewed on the Year 2 Art Showcase page.

Year 1

Looking at buildings. Make rubbings and prints based on different surfaces around the school. Look at photos of their own homes and use these to sketch their own house.Use a variety of fabrics and materials to create a collage of a house.
