Art lessons present opportunities to explore a range of media, techniques and skills in a positive and encouraging environment, whilst developing the children's knowledge of famous artists and movements.
Children in Years 2-8 are taught by a specialist art teacher. Our newly built art room is a wonderful space to work in and the children are eager to participate in activities.
We exhibit during Oxford Art Weeks and welcome visitors to enjoy a tour of the school and art room to appreciate the children's work.
Throughout the year, we have visiting artists and workshops as well as regular trips to Modern Art Oxford, University of Oxford Botanic Gardens, Pitt Rivers Museum and London galleries when appropriate.
