Today around 70 children, from Reception to Year 3, and their parents gathered at school for the annual JPA Easter Eggstravaganza. Throughout the morning children had the chance to enjoy activities like making Easter baskets and hats, having their faces painted, create Easter crafts, decorate biscuits and take part in competitions like – guess the name of the fluffy toy bunny, the memory tray game, guess the number of sweets in the jar, egg box hunt game and the popular 'stig' bunny hop game. The sports hall was buzzing with activity with the chocolate tombola stall proving to be as popular as ever. There was a raffle prize for the parents to help raise money towards the school's chosen charity Riding for the Disabled, and a fantastic display of Easter Gardens created by children from Reception to Year 3 with prizes for the best gardens in each year group judged by Crispin. All the fun ending with the eagerly anticipated Egg Hunt in the Pre-prep playground with the Easter Bunny on hand to sprinkle Easter magic over the whole event.
