Fresh off the pitch at Turn Moor having refereed one of the biggest FA cup upsets in recent years between Lincoln City and Burnley FC on Saturday afternoon, Abingdon Football Club were delighted to welcome back Old Abingdonian and current Premiership Football referee, Graeme Scott, to referee their 1st XI game at Tilsley Park against Forest School on Wednesday afternoon. This provided a terrific opportunity for the boys to hear of the experiences of an Old Abingdonian, now working within the professional game, whilst learning from him in action.
With a return to Premier League action this weekend, officiating at the Watford vs West Ham game we look forward to welcoming Graeme back to Tilsley Park to officiate our 1st XI fixture against Oratory School next Wednesday 1 March.
