On Tuesday, a group of 15 L6th boys and one brave teacher travelled to Basingstoke for a Physics of Flight workshop. The boys learnt about the physics of skydiving from a group of students from Southampton University who are in the process of designing a record breaking wing suit. Afterwards, everyone got a chance to have a go at indoor skydiving, putting some of what they had learnt into practice.
