Autumn 2009 saw the OA Club launch a new initiative: a series of professional networking dinners intend to encourage communication and interaction between OAs and other branches of the Abingdon School Community.
While every OA event has the potential to be a valuable networking opportunity, these professional dinner are specifically designed to give established professional OAs the chance to meet others employed in their chosen field. The events also provide an opportunty for younger alumni and current pupils with an interest in a particular profession to interact with OAs already working in that field. Other members of the wider school community are also invited to attend these dinner, including current and former parents, Governors and members of staff.
This is an important initiative which we hope all OAs will support.
