In December 2008 John Bunce (1962), the current OA Club Chairman, was elected to act as the official representative of the OA Club Committee on the governing body of Abingdon School. John has most recently been appointed as a member of the Abingdon Preparatory School committee.
In December 2009 a second member of the OA community joined John on the board of governors. Sir Vivian Ramsey (1968) was appointed a High Court Judge in 2005 and has been Judge in Charge of the Technology and Construction Court since 2007. On behalf of the OA Club he hosted a professional dinner for lawyers at Middle Temple in London, launching the new series of professional networking events in grand style.
The OA Club is very pleased to have such strong representation on the governing body.
