Dr John Michael Talbot (1944 - 2009)
There will be a service of thanksgiving in memorial of John Talbot (OA 1962), son of the late Joe Talbot (Second Master, Housemaster of Crescent House and Head of Science), who passed away after a long illness on 25 September 2009. John, Head of School and Captain of Athletics, left Abingdon School in 1962 as a Pembroke Scholar and became a General Practitioner and Medical Examiner. He was a master yachtsman and enjoyed country pursuits.
The service will take place at 2.30 pm on Friday 16 October 2009 at Souldern Church and afterwards at The Great Barn, Aynho, Oxfordshire.
