You will almost certainly know by now of the appointment of Felicity Lusk as Head of Abingdon School with effect from September 2010. I was very glad, as the OA Governor, to be part of the process by which Felicity was offered the post and I should tell all OAs that, on your behalf, I enthusiastically endorsed the appointment.
We are continuing to take the OA Club up a few gears with the active support of Mark Turner and I know that Felicity Lusk will be a creative supporter of what we are doing. The close links and imaginative events undertaken between Oxford High School and their alumnae are examples of what we are trying to achieve for our own involvement within the Abingdon Foundation.
This is certainly not an event to escape attention and already OAs are giving the OA Office your reactions. They are all hugely favourable. It is an exciting time to be an Abingdon pupil, staff member, parent, Governor and an OA!
