On Wednesday 17 March there will be a large OA Club reunion for all OAs who attended the School from 1976-2005. Key members of staff from those years will be in attendance, most notably Mr Michael St John Parker, Headmaster of Abingdon School 1975-2001, whose portrait will be unveiled at the reception by the Chairman of Governors and presented to the School.
The reunion will take the form of a drinks reception at The Athenæum Club, which is situated very centrally in London in Pall Mall. Tickets are £10.00 and can be obtained from the OA Office. Tickets can be paid for by cheque, made payable to 'Abingdon School' or by credit/debit card over the phone.
The nearest tube stations to The Athenæum are Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross. Limited on-street parking may be available on Warterloo Place free of charge after 6.30 pm. Please note: The Athenæum has a formal dress code for gentlemen that includes a jacket and tie.
Invitations have now been circulated but if you have lost yours, or did not receive it in the post, a copy can be downloaded here as well as the booking form. Tickets for this event are already selling fast and early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. due to limitied capacity at the venue tickets are only available to 1976-2005 leavers and can be booked via the OA Office, by post or over the phone, or online via the OA online members' area.
