Old Abingdonians

On Wednesday 17 March a large OA Club reunion was held at The Athenæum in London for all OAs who attended the School from 1976-2005.  The event was a huge success with over 120 OAs present as well as key members of staff from those years.

The most notable of these was Mr Michael St John Parker, Headmaster of Abingdon School 1975-2001.  At the reception a portrait commemorating his headmastership was unveiled by the Chairman of Governors, David Lillycrop.  After the unveiling the portrait was presented back to the School and is now hanging in the school dining hall for all to see.
