Boys and girls at Joint Modern Languages Club celebrated Christmas early this week with a special 'seasons greetings' card making session in five different languages. This was the last meeting of the club this term, which has been a busy and culturally enlightening one for the large number of keen Lower School enthusiasts from both schools. Taster lessons in Chinese, Spanish and Serbian along with cultural sessions celebrating various European events are just a few of the exciting things that have been going on this term.
From January, the Modern Languages Department will be running individual language clubs for years 1-3 throughout the week (in addition to the joint club each Tuesday): French (Monday period 5), Spanish (Monday period 8), German (Thursday period 5) and Chinese (Thursday period 8).
