Two teams of Lower School boys (and two reserves) today made their way to St Gregory the Great School, Oxford for the Regional Oxfordshire/Berkshire heat of the Kids’ Lit Quiz. From 37 teams, Abingdon 1 came 2nd, beaten by 1½ points to 1st place and the less experienced Abingdon 2 were a credible 16th. They answered 100 questions with such diverse themed rounds as amphibians, ‘yucky & disgusting’ and detectives.
