Jaguar visit

6 December 2010

A group of 28 economists visited the Jaguar car plant today at Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. The visit to the plant gave pupils an insight into the complexities of running a modern car plant. The tour included a visit to the factory floor, a briefing on the economic factors influencing the company and a ‘production task’ (using Lego) to promote teamwork.
