Abingdon School Headmaster, Michael Windsor joined the Third Year for a day…

“I really enjoyed experiencing a day in the life of an Abingdon pupil and particularly relished the chance to talk informally to our 3rd year pupils as we moved round the school between lessons. They were very good company and keen to share their views of Abingdon.

I saw a real variety of lessons, from Chemistry to Drama, from Computing to History. Every lesson was stimulating and interesting and it was great to see the pupils working both on their own and collaboratively but always with real focus and commitment. They were certainly challenged to think and reflect in every subject.

It was a very useful insight into life at Abingdon and I am grateful to Charlie, my guide for the day, who tolerated my presence in every lesson with good grace and patience.”
