Maths Challenge Team

Abingdon's mathematicians are celebrating a stunning performance in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Senior Team Maths Challenge. The four talented 16 to 18 year olds - Thomas Salt, Phoenix Tse, Omri Faraggi and Julian Ting - triumphed at the Oxford regional final. The boys achieved a commanding first place, and, very impressively, did not drop a single mark in the whole competition. The Maths Challenge is a nationwide event involving 50 regional heats and tests mathematical, communication and teamwork skills. The Abingdon boys now progress to the National Final in London, which will be held on Wednesday 1st February 2012.
