14 March 2017

Last week our 4th year students and their families hosted 34 French pupils from the Lycée de la Nativité from Aix-en-Provence. They arrived on Friday 3 March and spent the weekend with families. On Monday, the French pupils spent the day at school. They enjoyed a talk on the history of Abingdon School given by Mrs Wearne and liked attending lessons with their English partners. For the rest of the week, the group visited Bath, Cadbury World, Warwick Castle, Oxford and London. On Friday evening, the French and the English pupils spent the last evening together having a curry supper at school. The French party left on Saturday, very happy with their week and looking forward to seeing their English partners in Aix at the end of the month.
