Twenty four upper and lower sixth boys visited King's College with Mrs Slatford and Mr Loughe today for a seminar with Professor Ginette Vincendeau, Head of Film Studies at the university. The seminar afforded the boys the opportunity to develop their knowledge of French film director Mathieu Kassovitz and his work, in particular La Haine ('Hate', 1995), which the boys have been studying in preparation for their A2 exams this summer. The session was informative, interactive and a thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile experience for the boys.
