As well as Chapel, these groups provide an opportunity for anyone who would like to consider the relevance of Jesus Christ today and what it means to have a living relationship with Him. Each week we do this by meeting together and looking at God’s teaching in the Bible, often with the help of an outside speaker. Anyone is welcome.

‘The Way’ – Sixth Form Alpha Course
| Where: | Ingham Room |
| When: | Wednesdays in Michaelmas Term, 4.00 – 5.00 pm |
| Who: | Sixth Form from Abingdon, St Helen’s and Our Lady’s Schools |
| i/c: | MRG / PDBG |
The Alpha course, attended by millions worldwide, is an opportunity for sixth-formers to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting. Throughout the Michaelmas term there are ten thought-provoking sessions. Each week, there is a short presentation from an outside speaker. Local church youth leaders then help to facilitate discussions in smaller groups. This is where pupils get to discuss what they really think and ask any questions they have: to grill a Christian! The Alpha course is designed primarily for pupils who aren’t churchgoers and each session is open to any sixth-former from Abingdon, St Helen’s and Our Lady’s.
