Charlie Higson Visit

Charlie Higson Visit

14 September 2011

We were very fortunate to start off the new term with a visit from the well known children's author, Charlie Higson. The visit coincided with the publication of Charlie's third book, The Fear in his series ‘The Enemy'.

All boys in 1st and 2nd years, as well as a number of visiting schools were fortunate enough to hear him range through some of the influences that have gone into this chilling series about zombies: literary and historical references from Byron, through Frankenstein to the 1968 classic, The Night of the Living Dead and back to King Vlad, it was a real literary rollercoaster. If all of that is too scary, he is also author of the immensely entertaining Young Bond series.
