Three Abingdon School boys who have just completed the 1047 mile cycle ride from John O'Groats to Land's End receive very welcome GCSE results today. Between them the boys have notched up an impressive 24 A*s and 6A grades. The boys rode into Land's End on 9 August after 15 days in the saddle. The cycle was in aid of Macmillan Cancer support and has so far raised over £2350 for charity.

Completing the race, Matthew said, 'It was amazing, a great sense of achievement.  The last bit through Cornwall was very hard, too many hills and bad weather but it has been well worth it.'
