On Monday Rob MacLennan competed in the U18 British Fencing Championships, having qualified through regionals in March. Seeded 3rd after the poules, he progressed through five direct elimination rounds to reach the final, where he beat his opponent 15-12 to win the gold medal. This victory means he is the current U18 British Epee champion.
