Boarding Accommodation and Facilities

The accommodation has been extensively and continuously developed to provide comfortable, practical rooms with as much privacy as can be expected in a boarding house.

  • Third to fifth years (13 to 16 year olds) live in rooms of three or four beds.
  • Sixth formers (17 and 18 year olds) live in double or single rooms.

Showers and bathroom facilities have also been recently refurbished to offer privacy and cleanliness. We believe that you would be impressed by our standard of accommodation and would be pleased to show you around.

Facilities in each boarding house include a well-equipped kitchen, games room with pool and table tennis, a television room, a computer room with iMacs and a wireless network, a tuck shop, and pay phone.

Each house subscribes to daily newspapers and weekly magazines, and gets rations of bread, milk and butter from the kitchens to supplement the three meals and tea.
