There was a terrific selection of photos submitted during the summer for the ASPA photo competition, with Abingdon uniform and kit being displayed in locations ranging from the Great Wall of China, Hamleys Toy Store on Regent St and the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden. Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry.

Following a review at the last meeting the ASPA Committee decided to award the first prize jointly to Christian Reedman for his picture taken at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and to the Jefferson family for their appropriately coloured entry taken in St Tropez. Both prizewinners receive a cheque for £25 and their pictures are shown below.
The Committee has decided that the Competition should now be judged annually rather than termly, so the deadline for future entries will now be the first Friday of the Michaelmas term next year. There will be a first prize of £50 and a runners-up prize of £25. You can send your entries at any time before the deadline to aspa@abingdon.org.uk
