As an introduction to GCSE, third year art students have been working with the properties of paper and card to build architectural forms and minimalist sculptures.

The students have been building miniature models out of items such as toilet rolls. They have been receiving one off lessons based on titles such as the power of the curve, geometric buildings and slotting sculptures. At the end of each lesson students have taken photographs of their work and made visual connections with the work of real architects, artists and designers.
