Miss Felicity Lusk started as Head at Abingdon in September 2010. A New Zealander, Felicity graduated in Music from Victoria University in Wellington, NZ. Her teaching career began in New Zealand where she was Director of Music at Wellington East Girls' College and then at the co-educational Aotea College.
On moving to England in 1990 Felicity joined the Hasmonean High School in London, initially as Director of Music, teaching both boys and girls, and latterly as Deputy Head and also Head of the girls' school.
In 1997 she became Head of Oxford High School. During her 13 years as Head, the School earned a reputation not only as one of the leading academic schools in the country but also as a vibrant community, encouraging individuality and self-confidence.
Felicity has also held a number of external appointments, and recently became an independent member of the Standards Committee of the City of London Corporation. She is a past governor of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and until 2009 was a member of the Court of Oxford Brookes University.
