Congratulations to Harry Williams who today entered the Henley Swim, a 2.2km swim upstream following the Henley Regatta course. Harry isn't a club swimmer so to enter the event and complete it in 44 mins 54 secs is a real triumph and an impressive use of his post-GCSE time (as context, times ranged from 25 minutes for the elite triathletes to 1 hour 17 mins.) Harry came 6th in the junior category which was won by a boy from the Radley College team.
Guy Giles also recently took part in two open water 3.8km swims (sea and lake) and came first overall in each event (over 100 competitors of all age groups). His fastest time so far is 47mins!!!. This young man will be challenging David Davies at the 10k soon!
