Upper sixth student Harvey spoke at the Head’s Christmas assembly on the students’ ambition for Abingdon School to be one of the leading schools nationally in sustainability. The School has achieved a lot as Harvey had witnessed by his recent inspection of the solar panels on the sports hall, zero waste to landfill, LED upgrades and in 2022 air source heat pumps to be installed. Harvey called on students to help make the school plastic free and to join in the cross-town Eco-Week next term.
